Very nice food great staff
Called to order a takeaway from their website menu. We ordered two quinoa, however the lady on the phone didnt understand my order so she passed me on to another lady. She also didnt understand and said there was no quinoa, I told her I was looking at the menu and it was on the second page. She said, hold on a minute... and proceeded to hang up on me. I called back, they took a long time to answer and when they did the first lady I spoke to previously barked at me Bean bar cafe, how can I help you!, no longer polite. I proceeded to again place my order when I was again passed on to the second lady. I told her I was looking at their website menu, she finally explained she did not have access to this and that their menu was on Facebook. Perhaps you should take the time to know the previous menu instead of hanging up on potential customers. I wont bother calling back.
Went there this morning since it changed hands. Very disappointing. Was not busy at the time. Ordered bacon and eggs . Eggs were not cooked as asked. Bacon was awful. Had to ask for the coffee after breakfast had been eaten. Definitely not as good as before. Won't be going back
Outstanding service the calamari and prawns for entree have only been equalled in the Caribbean and I can't wait for dessert.
Booked for a xmas lunch, booked twice, first time was lost. Got there with elderly guests in the pouring rain to find out that the chef had just quit.Had to find another place, lucky 'Raw Sugar' just around the corner was very helpful, moved tables to fit us all in, had a lovely lunch.We will never go back to the 'Bean Bar' and be let down again.Once this was a great pace to eat, but has gone down hill in recent times.
