The reason for my slightly lower score is the stupid and annoying mobile phone policy. I am completely fine with no phones during the movie, thats completely expected. What isnt expected, is being told I cant use my phone before or during the ads. That is ridiculous. Im not bothering people, Im not talking on the phone, and my screen brightness is always way down. I used to go to the movies pretty often up in Brisbane, but I always think twice before going here in Taree. Ive only been maybe twice in the last year, when there have been plenty of movies I would have seen otherwise. And its literally only because of this policy. The prices are just fine, the cinemas are generally clean, the staff are polite. Please consider changing this policy.

I came to Fay's Twin Cinema over twenty years ago and really enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately, I can't even remember what film I saw at the time. Like I said, it was over twenty years ago. A fair bit of water has passed under the bridge since then. I haven't been back to NSW for quite a few years. Fay's has the traditional 'old world' feel to it. So I certainly do appreciate that. Well done Fay's Twin Cinema. Please continue to provide for the public the excellent hospitality and experience that I had when I was there.
This young man that works there messed up my order repeatedly. I understand his young when I asked for his age he said 13, I understand you have to be 14 to work, this is illegal and if you dont sack him soon Im going to do something about this. He needs to learn how to work properly, and how to serve properly. Apart from that issue it is a good Cinema with good movies, comfortable seats, good prices, yummy snacks.
I just wish it was cleanerIn response to owner - in the actual theatres themselves. I have come here frequently and while walking into the theatre's to take my seat they were often quite filthy. It was as if they didn't get cleaned and vacuumed, And rubbish was not removed. A big improvement would be to make sure theu were cleaned and the rubbish bin liner was changed between movies, as your main bin at the front of each theatre is quite small to keep up with the influx of people's foodstuffs. Apart from that, I absolutely love the cinema, love the choice of movies and choice of food at the kiosk. Great prices, And the staff have always been friendly to me.
