Plenty of rooms and is open later than other hotels in Taree, absolute life saver when on a long road trip and arrive pretty late, needing somewhere to stay. However the rooms were quite expensive.

Nice place to stay at Taree. Beds are really very comfortable to have a sound and refreshing sleep.
Definitely not a bad stay, however not worth the price. Very similar in quality to motels that are $80-90 per night in a similar location
The staff are friendly and the beds were comfy. However, do not stay here if you actually want to get sleep. It is not for travelers wanting and needing to get sleep during their journey.The rooms need a LOT better insulation for the noise - between the road noise and hearing the other guests either side and above us, very little sleep was had. This motel is clearly used by various workers on a regular basis going by the grease stains on the carpet floor, cigarette butt bins permanently attached to the walls outside the rooms (which give off that disgusting stale nicotine smell) and the assortment of work vehicles parked out the front. Despite the managers assurances that no-one comes in after 9pm, one did at 10.30pm, which the manager proceeded to have a loud conversation with next to our room. Every time the guy in the room above us moved around, it rattled the window next to my bed, ensuring minimal sleep. Then the workers going out to put their chain in the tray of their ute outside our room at 3.30am made sure there was to be no more rest. These same workers also then proceeded to have their car running, with the headlights on (which of course was facing our room because thee signs said you had to park your car front in) for nearly 10 minutes at 3.45am. Vehicles should be reversed in so headlights are pointing directly into guest rooms when it is dark, regardless of time. Yes they have attempted to do some renovations to the rooms but the massive crack on the roof/wall join and gap at the front door suggests that they didn't quite get it right. Basically we would never stay here again unless there was absolutely no alternative. The rate of $139 for the night was ridiculous.
